Jul. 19, 2019

On June 29, 2019, Gengu professional installation team was completed all the installation and commissioning works in Philadelphia, USA.

Two animatronic dinosaurs have joined the bronze Deinonychuses outside the museum. A 39-foot-long crocodile-headed creature -- Animatronic Spinosaurus standing on the rockery, and a 33-foot-long Animatronic Amargasaurus, which sported two parallel rows of tall spines down its neck and back. They are much larger, with more realistic skin tactility and vivid body shapes, have the look and feel of real animal.

As a crane slowly maneuvered the Spinosaurus to the sidewalk in front of the building. People hard to resist pulling out their phone to snap a shot of these realistic animatronic dinosaurs.

Inside the museum, there's a collection of smaller animatronics of dinosaurs from more than 200 million years ago, and there's also a Jurassic soundscape when the animatronics are activated by people walking past them. Visitors will get to see more animatronic dinosaurs in themed environments, to explore the ancient world of the dinosaurs. Get up close and personal with Tyrannosaurus, touch some dinosaur bones, see an animatronic dinosaur come to life with some exciting new technology and much, much more! Each dinosaur's backdrop mimics its native environment, the "immersive and educational experience" was created in this dinosaur theme exhibition.

Herrerasaurus was a lightly built bipedal carnivore, and it also likely a swift runner.  To stay consistent with our understanding of reality, so we created this Animatronic Herrerasaurus with a long tail and a relatively small head, strong hind limbs with short thighs and rather long feet. The jaws of animatronic Herrerasaurus were equipped with large serrated teeth, and the neck was slender and flexible.

This animatronic Oviraptor with feathers and movements, was reconstructed from evidence provided by fossil bones. Oviraptor was one of the most bird-like of the non-Avian theropod dinosaurs. It have extensive covering of feathers on the body, feathered wings, and feathered tail fans. We made the Animatronic Oviraptor of large eyes with bony rings and an unusual cranial crests along with a toothless beak.

Other Animatronic Dinosaurs featured in the exhibition:

Amargasaurus, Iguanodon, Neovenator, Protoceratops, Velociraptor (feathered), Hypacrosaurus, Leallynasaura, Minmi, Spinosaurus, T-rex, Triceartops.

We produced these animatronic creatures two years ago. The dinosaurs are all made with our brand-new, top-of-the-line technology at the time, so all of their movements are really smooth and natural. And these dinosaurs have been disassembled and installed several times for different areas' exhibitions. Our animatronic dinosaurs are proved to be reliable and stable, they not only can be used for permanent places but also suitable for traveling exhibitions, and we can always assist customer to install and debug at site.
